About the Artist

I grew up in a family that had several artists, but as the "little kid" in the family I knew I couldn't do what the adults could do so I grew upbelieving that I wasn't an "artist". The day before 9/11/01 I took my first collage class and began a completely unexpected journey. That journey has been sustained, nourished and encouraged by the talented and dedicated teachers of the Santa Barbara Adult Education program and by workshop instructors, but also by an extraordinary group of artist friends who have taken the journey with me.
